“The details don’t matter,” Trump said, when told by an adviser that a lawyer who was mounting his legal challenges wouldn’t be able to prove the false allegations in court, the filing states.
It’s sad the dems restore to corrupt methods to try to win elections. All they seek is power for power sake. They have no ideas to run on. Owned by big pharma and the MIC.
There actually is some interesting new stuff in here. It also seems pretty clear that he was not acting in an official capacity as President and therefore immunity would not apply.

It’s such a perfect example to illustrate the distinction between a liar and a bull ■■■■■■■ . In Harry Frankfurt’s book On [BS], he points out the difference, as well as why BS is worse than a lie:
When an honest man speaks, he says only what he believes to be true; and for the liar, it is correspondingly indispensable that he considers his statements to be false. For the ■■■■■■■■■■■■ however, all these bets are off: he is neither on the side of the true nor on the side of the false . . . He does not care whether the things he says describe reality correctly. He just picks them out, or makes them up, to suit his purpose.
Both liars and truth-tellers must recognize and respect empirical reality; bull ■■■■■■■■■ do not. Which means people like Trump destroy the legitimacy of truth itself: “It doesn’t matter if you won or lost the election.” It’s a big part of what makes him so uniquely awful. And it does matter if you win or lose an election.
Traditionally, the DOJ would delay something like this until after the election. This is difference. Smith has previously said he was trying to rush the process for the election.
And properly. It was only brought at all after it was clear Trump was going to be running against Biden. It should have been slowed in order not to interfere with the election, not sped up in order to interfere.
Actually, it should have never been brought at all, as it was just a political maneuver. They are relying on a DC jury that would find Trump guilty of anything.
The only thing new now is the nerve of Smith bringing this old news up again to,use as an October surprise.
I’ve mostly avoided the 2020 election stuff because I can’t suspend my disbelief or gag reflex for that long. It’s beyond terrible that MAGA losers rioted and engaged in malevolent, nation-wide legal and procedural ■■■■ to rat ■■■■■ our election. It’s even worse that they need to force everyone to pretend it didn’t happen.
They’re a bunch of alcoholics on the morning after a night of drunkenly abusing their family: “It didn’t happen! And if it did, it’s your fault! How dare you acknowledge it and expect me to move out!”
