Watched an uncle and a cousin lose their lives to pancreatic cancer. When the downward spiral starts it accelerates rapidly.

A true inspiration to a well admired woman RIP. As Americans above all else I wish this horrible disease was eradicated I assume all of us have lost someone close to it.

As a young girl who was interested in politics and the law, Sandra Day O Conner and Ruth Bader Ginsberg were really the few women I saw in powerful positions. I was the only girl I knew of in high school who was totally into politics.
These women were very inspirational to me and I felt like men and women alike looked at them with respect and honor.
