The expense is due to what it costs them for the franchise and the essential monopolies they have granted by the gov’t.
It doesn’t cost any more to get supplies into these locations than it does to any small town in the US.
I can get a very nice motel room locally for 60.00 and a great Ribeye Steak dinner with all the trimmings for 24.00, or a great cheeseburger at the same place for 7.50.
