That the “system” is less restrictive than it was 50 years ago.
When my granddad was a kid the black middle class didn’t exist. There were a few well off blacks in some areas. The vast majority were dirt poor sharecroppers.
Now a black middle class actually exists. It was a myth whispered in hush tones a generation ago.
Oh that’s cute. But that isn’t what happen. They weren’t unemployed
I’m not so sure about that.
Is a black kid raised by whites “culturally” black?
He has the skin tone. He’ll even experience the racism. But is he or she really “black” in the way that we are speaking of it?
No, I gave you the definition of reparations.

Of course you can. There is not one black culture anymore than there is one white culture or Latino culture or Asian culture. That was a silly thing to say.
I didn’t say “black” culture. I said culture. Period.
Guess what - white people in poverty share many of the same cultural traits as black people living in poverty. As do Latinos. Probably as Asians.
Regardless of skin color, the path out of poverty is the same.

Maybe not, but at the end of the day… he/she is still black. Culture has little to do with whether or not you experience racism.

Yes, they were. Their employ is to plant. They were paid not to plant. Then they were paid because the USG prevented them from getting their products to market.
Describe this “culture” that I should be paying attention to, rather than race?
List them…

Anyone got Kaepernick’s phone number?
yeah and i gave you reality
So is this response…
Henry Louis Gates Jr., Culture?
Fully agree.
There’s not a whole lot of cultural difference between the ghetto and the run down trailer park.
Both suffer from the same problems.

I have experienced black on white racism more than a few times over the years, does that mean all black people or the government owes me money?

You know what it is. You’ve admitted to it. Belittling academic achievement for one.
- Failure to finish high school
- Having children out of wedlock
- Inability to get and keep a job
- Lack of self-discipline
- Mother and father raising the child together
- Mismanaging finances in favor of instant gratification
- Drug use
- Prison record
Among others.
Thanks
So culture is why people were racist towards Obama?
