Should people have the “freedom” to run red lights?

If it’s a right turn and there’s no sign prohibiting it, I can.

Um, no? You have to stop at a red light before turning right.

But for you I’ll rephrase the question: Should people have the “freedom” to not stop at a red light?

I would say yes, provided they have an unobstructed view and no cross traffic is near the intersection. That obviously isn’t current law but if you look at it logically, it should be.

It definitely should not be the law. It would make much more sense to just use blinking red lights during low traffic times.

I shouldn’t need to try. Simply having a large chunk of the market doesn’t make you a monopoly. If 80% of YouTube’s viewers and creators decided to switch to Vimeo, they could.
