Question for Fathers of Daughters

Question for fathers of daughters:

I don’t have a daughter. I did live in constant concern that my son would be kidnapped for the first 13 years. We had very strict rules we followed.

As the father of daughter(s) and given what you know about males in today’s garbage societies, how are you not very concerned about the Will Thomas/Loudon county scenarios?

What makes you disregard this as a threat?

My daughters would grab the dangling body parts and escort said individual out of where they didn’t belong.

Fair enough. I’m thinking of that vulnerable age, say 15 and under.

Years ago, when a young man came on a Saturday to pick up one of my daughters for a date, I just happened to be cleaning my shotgun in the family room from hunting quail earlier that day. It was maybe…a month or so later, this song came out. :sunglasses: :tumbler_glass:

Always followed and taught strict personal safety guidelines I have followed my whole life. Other than that, we live our lives with joy and happiness and we don’t wallow in the sewer of Right Wing Content Creators who want you to believe trans people are big scary monsters and kidnapping, murders, and mayhem are around every corner.

i dont disregard any threat

i teach them that thanks to the degenerate left and democrats who are normalizing various gender/sexual related mental illnesses based on some perverse distortion of what “progress” is, there are a lot of sickos out there and they need to be wary and cautious and not to ignore signs or signals or anything that seem odd.

for instance, i tell them that they should avoid anyone who does the things Joe Biden does around little girls and other women. There are plenty of good examples of that for them to see what to avoid

Well to be fair… conservative do tend to dominate living in states with the highest murder and rape rates. Maybe they have reason to be worried.

“Rates”

Is it surprising to you that the three most populous states… have the most total rapes .

No. Not at all. Does anything leap out at you about race?

If I ever have a daughter she will know how to shoot, how to use a knife, and how to use a set of brass knuckles.

For those times I wouldn’t be there to protect her.

Same goes for my future potential son. The world isn’t the nicest place. They will know how to defend themselves if it comes down to it.

I’ll also instruct them that a fight doesn’t start with the first punch thrown. It starts with intention.

I mean being murdered or raped is a real possibility anywhere at anytime.

I will instruct my kids (if I ever have any) to be prepared. My kids won’t be walking around as adults in condition white. They don’t need to dwell on the possibility (I don’t) but they do need to be mindful of their surroundings and more importantly what kind of people could potentially be a threat to their safety.

It can and does happen anywhere.

Being at least somewhat prepared and most importantly being at a minimum of condition yellow when outside of the home can save your life.

Now that’s true. As we all know, it’s usually males who do it. And when people are in restrooms and dressing rooms, they are at their most vulnerable.

So let’s demand the most likely demographic of perpetrators access to their desired demographic of victims while the victims are at their most vulnerable.

Makes perfect sense.

One can never completely disregard any threat, but the fact that in the 40 or so years of living in this community before I had daughters and through their years under my roof, there had never been a child abduction other than in custody disputes helped. Zip codes matter.

Besides constantly making sure she is situationally aware and knows how to avoid getting into situations that increase the possibility of being on the receiving end of any kind, I frequently annoy her by telling her things such as you don’t invite males into the female restroom (like what happened in Loudon County). I also make sure she understands the basics of quickly disabling a guy and getting away.

By the time my youngest daughter was 14 she had been awarded her 3rd Dan in Tae Kwon Do and was competing in the AAU Junior Olympics. At 15 she won a Silver Medal. Chances are if some mook attempted to lay hands on my daughter as in the Loudon County rape cases, that individual likely would be seriously injured. My oldest daughter broke some clowns nose with a right cross in HS because he touched her breast. This was in the mid-late '80’s and the AP at the school asked if we could speak to her. I told him “Sure, I’ll tell her next time follow the right cross with an uppercut”! They weren’t amused. I encourage fathers of daughters to find self-defense classes beginning at around age 10. I trained in TKD as did my wife for many years, you learn a few things and its great exercise. Unless you’re just a girly man and “abhor violence” you should be able to defend yourself if someone puts their hands on you. Why be a victim? Beat their ■■■■■■■ asses and maybe they’ll think twice next time.

Daughter was a risk taker. She played with fire as an adolescent. I slowed some of that down but in the end, it was only the grace of God that preserved my daughter.

Fortunately she did well in school and ended up in a respectable job as a high school principal. Sadly, last time I checked, she leans left.
