The US can’t “stop trading” with China before the decoupling.

China knows it. Nobody gives a crap about sanctions.

Bet Brandon didn’t see that one coming.

Whatever dude.

oh you’re right that nobody cares, but thats because first and foremost, these sanctions are mostly for domestic political consumption. brandon wanted to thump his chest and sound tough. the sanctions don’t actually do a damned thing that matters

Precisely…and anyone that’s been following this as you and I have knows it

All you’re going to do is push for different global currency

thats eventually coming whether we like it or not.

in the meantime, china can’t survive without the us buying its crap. and they surely cannot survive without the us and the eu not buying thier crap.

They will do better then us…until we uncouple from China. Just as Sneaky said

no they won’t. the chinese economy is dependent on the us market. we can replace their crap, they can’t replace our market. you’d think someone that followed trump might know that

They need a scolding from Greta

Yowza. That’s some high-octane predictin’ right there. I hope I live long enough to see if it comes true.

No we can’t…not until we uncouple from em using other suppliers.

yes we can. whenever we choose to. your problem is you want it to be painless. tough ■■■■

Once again an American tells a European that the American knows more about Europe than the European does.

It’s a more common prediction than you might think. If Russia is headed towards at the very least massive contraction and at worst Balkanization-which I think the Ukraine thing has shown is almost certainly what’s going to happen, a Russia that can’t conquer Ukraine isn’t a Great Power except for their nukes-the three nations that will benefit most from pushing into their former sphere of influence will be Japan, Turkey and Poland.

Japan already has the third or fourth largest navy in the world despite not technically having a military.

one leftist brit is not a trend

There is a very clear trend, it’s not just me.

I for one am shocked that Brits are regretting intentionally entering into a massive recession just as global inflation hit. This must be a mistake.
