May be but i think threats against Chauvin are just as credible.

Not every black who resists should be shot. But they increase their odds of being shot when they do. There should be a full, public investigation when it happens. The name of the officer involved should be available to the press.
By being involved in a riot, Ashlee increased her odds of being shot.

Agree?

I get that. It’s a good point.

I’d believe you had this been what you claimed every other time someone was shot by the cops.
But I’ve been here long enough to know that is NOT the case.
You’re mad at this when you weren’t mad at the others because Ashli had politics that aligned with yours.
Period.
Also the same loud voices demanding an investigation now wanted a ruthless crackdown on the summer riots.
This is what happens in crackdowns.
People get shot and killed.
Maybe next time you won’t be so quick to judge the victim of a cop shooting?
Maybe next time you won’t be so eager to call for a crackdown?
Maybe next time your default won’t be “obey authority and this won’t happen”?
I’d like to think so…Im not holding my breath.

I’ve seen no evidence of such.

Lucky for you. I’m not asking you to believe anything. I’m asking if you agree.

Well? Don’t be shy.

Why do you need to know? Why the press?
The same reason that we know the ID of every cop who shot a black man. Are you opposed to that?

As i said before i am not opposed to his name being released. I know that keeps getting lost in the myriad of posts. The reason we know and why we need to know are two different things. Why does the press need to know
Because justice depends on it. We can’t exempt law enforcement from scrutiny. If police are allowed to remain anonymous after a shooting, everybody should be.

I know you think something is over my head.
That’s cute.

I knew the election was legitimate long before January 6.
In what way does his prosecution require his name being disclosed. There is aboslutely no reason why Chauvins name needed to be disclosed other the públic’s need to know.
You need to know for some reason. Not sure why
It was one of the low points in American history.

That’s where you are wrong.

No, I’m quite sure I am right. Otherwise I wouldn’t have said it.
But thanks for the meaningful conversation.

They have chosen not to prosecute him. Justice? What justice?
Then you’re not reading my replies. I’ve need clear.

Ok he is not being prosecuted. What justice is being served by the disclosure
His lawyer put his license at risk to say this;
"It’s a false narrative that he issued no verbal commands or warnings,” the officer’s lawyer, Mark Schamel, told Real Clear Investigations . "He was screaming, ‘Stay back! Stay back! Don’t come in here!’”
They are expected to stretch the truth and mislead, but statements of fact are another matter.

I’m not saying he didn’t, I have seen no evidence of such. His lawyer’s license is not at risk.

If turns out he gave no warning at all and the lawyer lied to the investigators, I’d say it is at risk.

Nonsense. That is a really lame excuse.
