We have an effective vaccine for Swine Flu IF that ends up being the biggest threat.

Where we get caught with our pants down is when they guess wrong about which strain or strains will be problematic in the fall which happens all too often.

Great movie. The original, of course. The remake was terrible.

Really? You like the David Lynch one? I love Dune but even I recognize that as being pretty bad. The Scyfy channel one was actually pretty good considering their budget. But it doesn’t matter. Pretty sure we’re all going to try and forget about those two once Villeneuve’s version comes out in December. Which should be awesome.

I concur. Lynch’s was a mess even if the imagery was good. The SciFi channel had the luxury of time to tell the story and was better (nod to limited budget making special effects not great but I invest more in the story).
