Iām impressed by how hard heās been trying. Thatās something presidents tend not to do. Campaign promises are usually just empty words. Heās actually trying to fulfill them.

You know that I was being sarcastic. 
In earlier threads @Nemesis and I had already discussed this and we kind of agreed that Trump was using hyperbole with his comment regarding how quickly he could end the Ukraine war.
It was within that context that I responded to your post with sarcasm.

Trump is very much a populist so heās playing that Populist playbook like a charm.

His own ideology isnāt really well defined in a box IMO. Heās very much a āby the peopleā sort of person. Most people try to push their own ideology and then justify it to try and convert people to their point of view. He really isnāt like that.
It isnāt a bad thing and itās not unheard of in American politics. Teddy Roosevelt had a similar bent to him.
