Much like his first term, Trump is attempting to keep his campaign promises and good steward my money. I thank him for that.
It seems to me the difference this time is he was prepared and is moving quickly yo return to first principles.
Eventually he will run into obstacles. Last time he kept moving, but never really circled back to clean up what he bypassed (much like the US military strategy in GWOT, although they did eventually circle back some.)
These are interesting times. I think people are seeing what you pointed out - that he’s trying to keep promises. No one has actually ever seen in any president not to this extent
I also think part of this phenomenon is that people are relying on crap news a lot less lately That represents a major shift
Don’t know if this is part of an actual specific promise, but in general, it represents a middle finger to globalists and their schemes to tax the world
And like Al said, as soon as a Dem is in office we will be back in it. Its now a political football.
Credit to Trump for getting down to work but writing EO is not exactly difficult. Easy to keep promises that just require a quick signature but the real work is going to come once there are no more EO to sign.
Will he end the war in Ukraine? Will prices come down? Will he deliver on his deportation promises? Will DOGE actually deliver or just be a meme.
We shall see in two years if its really promises made promises kept if the Republicans keep control of the house and senate. If he has I expect them to hold both comfortably.
Democrats will find it harder to get back to the presidency. That will mean they become middle of the road and abandon the special ideology groups like trans. Democrats left the worker without a voice.
