Biden is trying to be political, look where that’s got us.

Every politician tries to be political. It’s how politics works.

Even dictators play politics.

The National Guard would only inflame the situation, and most likely inspire a month’s worth of Pro-Hamas riots on other campuses. This needs to be handled on a local law enforcement level, along with universities expelling the sympathizers and anyone who threatens Jewish students. Unfortunately, university administrators are mostly on the Pro-Hamas side, so fat chance any of this happens.

This is the solution to the problem. The students blocking access to classrooms are violating the number one rule of academia; free access to learning. They can be easily expelled under any school’s policies.

At most, get the local police (and most big colleges have their own security force) involved and make arrests and break the ■■■■ up.

Deploying the guard will only inflame tensions and possibly lead to people being shot.

The police were asked in and quickly cleared the crowd at NYU last night.

150 arrested. They do ok when allowed to do their jobs.

Too bad they weren’t allowed to do similarly during the 2020 riots!

That last part was Politik. The city governments were sticking their heads out and seeing where the mob was headed and placated them. Because they didn’t want to get their own houses burned down.

Yes. Obviously they are a terrorist organization and seem to be proud of it.

Where in history has Israel ever attacked anyone unless being first attacked themselves? Far right or far left, they have a right to be governed as they choose. Why does that bother people?

The Six Days War they definitely shot first.

Remember the massive Anti Netanyahu protests that were going on before Oct 6?

Short answer is the left has done nothing to stop this nonsense and in fact has encouraged these types of hate driven shenanigans since 2016. Starting with the screaming mimis moving on to the pink hats ( remember those nitwits) and culminating in the “summer of love “ . Now you are somehow surprised that they have grown more hateful and violent?
Add to that the government agencies that are supposed to be protecting the citizens are extremely derelict in their duties and in fact seem focused on pursuing only one man.

Violently crush them with the military before they become violent.

Good plan.

Where did I say that?

They shot first with good reason. Egypt mobilized its military and closed the Straits of Tiran, in violation of the armistice terms that ended the Suez Crisis. Israel had every right to attack first under those circumstances.

It was a response to the question posed.

I know. That’s just a part that gets left out a lot and I think it’s very important to mention.

It can be mentioned that Israel has never attacked first without a just cause. Although I’ll argue that Lebanon in the 80s was questionable. Good justification, but I don’t think it was enough to be worth the investment. The Israeli people thought the same thing since Begin got ousted right after that call was made.

In 67 Israel shot first and for good reason. Egypt closed the Straits of Tiran and mobilized its military while threatening invasion. Israel made a good call by striking Egypt first.

“Shoot first” doesn’t mean they attacked first. What you described as the Arab actions (not just Egypt) was an attack on Israel.

If libs want to split hairs over that, it still won’t merit them their cherished internet ribbon.

I split the hairs on it because the Arabs weren’t unified in 67. Egypt and Syria were but Jordan was sitting it out at first until someone in the Egyptian state department bald faced lied to his Jordanian counterpart about having destroyed the IAF and Jordan got greedy and decided to try and grab West Jerusalem. Israel and Jordan were actually talking to each other when this was going on the Israelis almost nearly talked sense into them telling them that Egypt was lying. But the Jordanian State Ministry stupidly decided to believe the Egyptians.

Biden said there was fine people on both sides.

I don’t care what you protest as long as it’s peaceful and not harmful to others, this crossed that line two days ago. It needs to be dealt with.
