It’s super unbelievable that Trump would ask China to help his re-election. It’s not like he literally asked them to dig up dirt on Biden standing in the Rose Garden in front of a hundred reporters.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said former White House national security adviser John Bolton “may be an author, but he’s no patriot” after excerpts from his book claim that House Democrats committed “impeachment malpractice” in limiting their inquiry to Ukraine.

“Bolton’s staff were asked to testify before the House to Trump’s abuses, and did. They had a lot to lose and showed real courage,” Schiff tweeted. “When Bolton was asked, he refused, and said he’d sue if subpoenaed. Instead, he saved it for a book.”

That’s what Bolton’s attorney said in late 2019.

In 2020, he changed his tune and practically begged for a subpoena.
