Biden is no leader, as we discovered during Obama’s Presidency. It is laughable that DEMs point to his ability to read a teleprompter criticizing Trump as evidence of leadership.

Biden is a has been. It is very easy to sit on the sidelines and cast aspersions upon someone who is managing a crisis. In this case, Trump is managing multiple crises. He is leading our country through those crises. History and the voting public will be the judge of his effectiveness as a leader.

It doesn’t surprise me that LIBs would point to someone giving a like-minded speech as leadership. That was Obama’s claim to the throne. He could give one hell of a speech. But he was no leader. He was about as radical as they come. Also corrupt to the core. And a divider in chief.

Personally I find this whole notion of “Leadership” to be so overblown. Leading us in what way? Like a General leading his troops into war? Like Captain America leading the Avengers? In what way is a specific politician leading each person in their daily lives? In the end it is all about policy. What policies are best for the country?

You must think I was born yesterday. The $800 billion bailout was passed and signed under Bush’s watch. Obama was simply a caretaker. In regards to the Swine flu, there really is no comparison to what we are seeing with COVID-19.

I stand by my earlier characterization of Obama: He was about as radical as they come. Also corrupt to the core. And a divider in chief.

It was a great success and Biden did a great job implementing it.

We got out of a horrible situation for cheap. A huge chunk of it was tax breaks, it was very effective. Note how much Trump spent for this crisis so far. What is it now? 3 or 4 trillion? And the economy was relatively healthy before COVID hit. Obama was facing 10 percent unemployment, two wars and a collapsing housing and stock market when he was sworn in. The H1N1 hit a few months into his Presidency. Despite all this we managed to get out of it fairly quickly. And he saved the Big 3 while making a profit from it.

He wound up, with his last budget, reducing the deficit by 70% over Bush’s last budget year. Not too shabby!

Obama came into office with the economy in a free fall and in wars with two different countries. Then one month into office H1N1 hit. He was definitely a leader and he definitely did a good job. He did all that with 800 billion dollars. He turned a profit saving the big 3. He did well.

He just wasn’t a Republican, I get that. If he was a Republican you guys would be propping him up as high as you do Reagan.

And Biden was a huge part of that team. He handled the 800 billion, he was point on a lot of significant jobs they faced. He did a solid job and Obama would be the first to tell you that.

Biden will never be the speaker Obama is, but he knows what he is doing. He is competent and compassionate, he understands and protects the middle class. He will do fine.

That’s all Well and good, but he’s gone far to the left on many issues, including firearms . His website is a gun grabber’s dream. Doesn’t mention supporting or Even acknowledge the 2nd amendment. Why would I even consider voting for someone on the complete opposite side of important issues? He’s not compromising on any of those issues.

Because the reality in America is that no one is ever going to confiscate guns in this country. There are enough Democrats and Republicans that will never see this reach the light of day, and if it slips through the courts will overrule it.

This is in the same vein as abortion. GOP candidates love to talk about abolishing it to gin up their base knowing it is the law of the land and will not ever be abolished. Even if it slips through a red state’s legislature, the courts shoot it down.

It is pandering, for the most part, and unfortunately is simply part of the process in getting elected.

What Biden gives you over Trump is decency and competence. I don’t expect most Republicans or Conservatives to vote Biden, but I think a lot of them will because they loathe the day trader in the White House besmirching their movement and their standards of conduct.
