The whole country i think was ready to be unified in who truly wrong the death of George Floyd was. The thugs looters vandals and arsonists have destroyed at least some of that.

I feel empathy for the people hurt by the criminals, not for the criminals themselves.

No not so concerning empathy in regard to this current context.
The context is specific, and important to the application of the word really.
You could win the lottery, and I could show empathy for you. Meaning I’m feeling what your feeling in it’s strictest definition. But what you are feeling, is an adreneline rush, a million thoughts of what to buy, what to do, etc… Am I really feeling that just like you? Probably not, probably a little jealous, confused, bewilderd, certainly no where near the high the lottery winner is having.
I was not talking about how someone feels when they drain a three point shot. I thought I was talking about trying to empathize with black experience in America.
That experience my friend is not winning the lottery now is it. That kind of empathy is painful, if you really are capable of it in the first place. These feelings internalized is one of pain, pain, pain, madness, abandonment, sadness, no where safe, never ending, and on, and on…
Empathy in this case I think I described apt. It’s more than holding your hand, and staring into your eyes as you read a birthday card I’m afraid.

Biden is more of a sour old goat.

Dunno how its possible considering Trump is ostensibly nigh sociopathic but so be it. Biden’s strength, to me, is his humanity and competence, Trump’s strength is his mouth and his political skill in creating narratives that befit his needs.

Biden is no leader, as we discovered during Obama’s Presidency. It is laughable that DEMs point to his ability to read a teleprompter criticizing Trump as evidence of leadership.

Biden is a has been. It is very easy to sit on the sidelines and cast aspersions upon someone who is managing a crisis. In this case, Trump is managing multiple crises. He is leading our country through those crises. History and the voting public will be the judge of his effectiveness as a leader.

It doesn’t surprise me that LIBs would point to someone giving a like-minded speech as leadership. That was Obama’s claim to the throne. He could give one hell of a speech. But he was no leader. He was about as radical as they come. Also corrupt to the core. And a divider in chief.
