You might have a point if Trump were using ebonics or was being intentionally bad at grammar. Neither of those things is going on here.

There is a world of difference between allowing the occasional “y’all” into a work document and completely ignoring the subject/predicate dynamic of language.

While that seems silly on it’s face, and the word “microaggression” makes me cringe… they do state that “linguistic and writing research has shown clearly for many decades that there is no inherent “standard” of English.” as the fundamental philosophy behind this.

So behind all the PC crap, is the question of what is actually “proper” or the “standard”, and who defines it; they apparently have decided that is not fixed and is defined by region/culture to some degree.

But honestly, it was hard for me to even try to rationalize that, bunch of nonsense
