That’s a nice fiction tale, but McCain was and is generally one of the more respected GOP politicians by the left. His constant desire to bomb away the world’s problems and his unleashing of Sarah Palin on an unsuspecting populace are rightly criticized, but he was and is respected as at least being capable of independent thought.

Two of which aren’t questioning his heroism, rather his command experience, and one of those two people was the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, also known as a relevant authority on the issue. He wasn’t a draft dodging coward. Regardless, how is this relevant to what I posted? As of June, John McCain had a 62% favorable rating among Arizona democrats.

No, I did not approve of McCain’s policies viz a viz conservatives. Viz a viz Obama, they were infinitely better. That’s why I voted for him in the general, not in the primaries, in 2008.

When you asked if I’d been under a rock, I forgot that the answer is no but…I’ve been on Lake Erie fishing for the past 5 days. We’d come into a small Canadian port at night and then go out again the next day. I have been off of the grid.
