Presidential age limit

Can you imagine how awesome it would be to age in reverse?

No Friggin Way! Nancy Pelosi could put some one like Elain Luria or in a couple of years, AOC as her stand in and their would be no checks and balances.

Wrong answer.

Warren Buffet is 91 years old and is way sharper than most people you know. I wouldn’t bet against him.

People age differently, and an age limit is merely arbitrary.

Let the people decide how old is too old. It’s called ‘voting’.

The people have the right to elect whoever they want in the House.

And let’s all remember why and who made term limits necessary for President.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

The closest thing this country has ever had to a true one of a kind dictator.

If he got elected in his 30s the political landscape right now would be insane

Living organs are being 3D printed and implanted in people with no need for anti rejection meds. It’s only a matter of time before replacing hearts/lungs/livers/etc. are as routine as taking a car to a mechanic.

If everything in the body (sans the brain) can be replaced, age becomes voluntary (or a privilege).

Unfortunately for you, since Republicans support this amendment at an even HIGHER percentage than Independents and Democrats, that card doesn’t work.

In any event, Trump will not be the Republican nominee in 2024.

In fact, I would say the odds of him sitting in jail are far higher than the odds of him sitting in the White House, when January 20th, 2025 rolls around.

Just go out and buy your DeSantis/Noem or DeSantisHaley t-shirts now.

Immortality is much farther off than you perceive.

Nor should humans be chasing immortality.

They should be pursuing their hopes and dreams ambitiously in their allotted lifespan.

Humans are intended to be mortal, not immortal and we should live life as mortals.

Y’all been saying that for 6 years. Pick the arm up, move it a quarter inch, and set it back down gently.

I personally am not for and age limit just if there is real cause for concern a semi annual cognitive test would suffice while in office. I like most here have seen elderly people sharp as a tack while others can’t remember your name. I don’t like broad brushing as if it’s a one size fits all situation, it’s not.

On a more snarky comparison after driving with my wife I could make the argument women shouldn’t be able to drive but I know she is the exception not the norm or maybe

Yowza. That’s quite a prediction

Gosh, you’re old! These days you close and reopen the app.

Feel free to die on schedule. Of course that will probably happen far past your completely natural lifetime won’t it?

age limits… Logan’s Run will be here before you know it… utopia

I myself would still be around in the 2070’s even without fresh organs. There’s a greater than 0 probability that I will see the year 2100. Throw in some freshly printed organs and I might just get bored with this planet. :man_shrugging:

…and now…for the rest of…the story (in my best Paul Harvey voice); this is just another disguised attempt by the corrupt, political establishment to insure Trump never makes it back into the WH.
