President Trump takes a lesson from Denmark

Driverless cars have been tested for the past decade They can’t even get cabs to work. You are looking at a generation before it is actually done

It’s going to hit every field. The only people protected will be plumbers, electricians, nurses etc… Then they will have to compete with thousands upon thousands of people switching fields and getting apprenticeships. We will look like that south park episode where handy men are driving around 100k trucks and taking the highest bid.

But I would imagine soon enough they will start importing in way more foreign nurses willing to work for much less than their American counterpart.

They are not going to create new jobs it’s going to be a bloodbath. You can already see it taking form in tech and customer support. CEO’s are gleefully letting go of employees even before they have the AI in place.

Even Sam Waltman says he loses sleep over the upcoming AI elimination of jobs and whole sectors will be eliminated. But he has optimism new jobs will take it’s place. No one wants and economy ran on optimism and hope. It’s going to be very ugly for many fields.

Anything related to data will be gone or severely neutered. Any computer work outside of physically working on chips which mostly takes place overseas gone, customer support gone - it’s already started. Financial sector will be hurt, Paralegal’s ■■■■■■■ And it’s highly likely to impact teachers in the future.

The list goes on and on. Anything that involves computer work which is a hefty percentage of jobs will be taken over by AI at a fraction of the cost it takes to employ and American. We can already see the public could care less if Americans lose their I.T. jobs to India why will they care if AI slams a sector. The people impacted will be the only ones who care.

That’s before automation comes in. There is not enough regulation on this if it doesn’t get regulated many people will be out of a job then on the streets.

Take the latest AI actress coming Tilly Norwood, this is just the beginning they will be able to make a 25 year old Tom Cruise or any other actor, input script in a program and pop out a full movie in the coming years. She is just the start and some people will say well who cares if some snooty A listers will be effected. But they have money. It will be everybody else effected. The script writers, the makeup artists, all the film crew gone.

This part could actually be a really good thing.

Imagine the Hollywood Empire being powerless to control the subliminal content placed in a movie that goes viral.

And they’re everywhere right now. Even I see a Tesla or two on my way into town.

Those have drivers though

Well, there’s a person sitting there anyway. lol

The Industrial Revolution was a bloodbath too until society converted. Different jobs. That’s all.

This belief that ai is some sort of a singularity is based on pretty things like the actress you cited to and not understanding that at its core all it is (and will be for a long time) is an information aggregator. It can’t yet do even the complex calculations as it maxes out (not its processing power) but it’s understanding. It’s nothing but a copy cat right now.

It’s a generation away during which time people will need to adapt just as they did 250 years ago.

I applaud you for admitting you were just completely making up your main point.

Of course, this invalidates pretty much your entire point…that Trump is somehow “emulating Denmark”.

If you have no evidence for your main point, why would you even begin to believe that Trump “learned the lesson of Denmark”?

If you don’t even know the drivers of Denmark’s relative “happiness”, then why would you ever think we could emulate that here?

Seriously, dude…are you even trying to make a point?

They’ve allready declared their streets THEIRS and told Londoners NOT to come.
How long before they do same here.

No. Unfortunately we can’t. They have only 16,000 people in the military to fund, they don’t have to deal with an enormous dependent class. They don’t have 20 million invaders to pay for. Oh, and we’re not willing to fund those things by paying $8.50 per gallon for gasoline. I’m thinking that we should start our journey by first deporting all of the invaders.
Sound good?

Google ai:

“In September 2025, Dearborn Mayor Abdullah Hammoud told resident and Christian minister Ted Barham that he was “not welcome” in the city during a heated exchange at a city council meeting. The mayor’s comments went viral and generated significant controversy. “

Yeah over street signs. He also said that he would throw a parade once the minister leaves

Tyranny :joy:

And there you have it!!! You are obeying the commandment like a good little cult member. “Thou shalt not say anything disparaging of Islam.” A Muslim mayor tells Christians that they are not wanted in his community, and you cult members think the problem is…ME!

I still like the Denmark immigration policy. They seem to be happy with it.
