Don’t worry. You’ll soon see libs head to the tax assessor’s office in droves demanding top dollar assessments so they can pay their fair share.

Jealous?

Did not know that…but that’s a good thing IMO.

Why would I be jealous of committing fraud?

You’re acting like it.

Trump should have used Hannity lawyers.

It would have saved him so much trouble.

What a weird argument.

I’m lovin’ the Trump attorney’s tack:

Mona Lisa properties

Trump attorney Alina Habba also spoke during opening arguments, attacking the judge’s finding in last week’s ruling that valued Mar-a-Lago at $18 million (the judge said Monday that his ruling did not specifically value Mar-a-Lago at $18 million, but was citing Palm Beach tax records).

Mar-a-Lago would be sold for at least $1 billion, Habba claimed.

“The value is what someone is willing to pay. The Trump properties are Mona Lisa properties,” she added. “That is not fraud, that is real estate.”

The thing is that they can remove the Mar-A-Lago section of the ruling and there is still a ton of fraud.

His Trump Tower apartment and the phantom square footage. The Silver Springs Estate and valuing it based on construction that does not exist but could have sometime in the future.

It’s a lot of fraud.

Yeah itrs for sure just one piece. The facade is crumbling fast. I assume most of his loans are from shady actors - Russia/Saud…because I cant imagine any bank in the West loaning him any money anymore.

Nope. I just won’t use an inflated value by $2300% or add imaginary square footage to my home in order to secure favorable loans.

Loan officer’s responsibility

Cool.

If I continue to deposit fraudulent checks and the bank doesn’t catch it… then I’m good right?

That seems to be the opinion. I can commit fraud to get loans, mortgages, anything and its not my fault. It is the lending institution. They are the guilty ones not me.

A fraudulent check is not a loan.

Some of y’all have never borrowed money or understand “collateral.” And it shows.

The lending institution has a responsibility.

It’s fraud. You seem to be saying it’s ok to commit fraud with a bank since they didn’t catch it.

They do but does not the individual submitting the information have a responsibility to be truthful?

I am trying to think of a time that someone was accused of fraud and they successfully defended their position in course that the fraud was the responsibility of the defrauded not to let it happen.
