I prefer the best qualified for any position. Qualifications should not include color of skin/heritage. Qualifications should be colorblind. Actually in a perfect world resumes would be stripped of name, anything identifying race/heritage and focus only on qualifications/experience.

Maybe he is, but I suspect the reason he was picked is more due to skin color than qualifications. I may be wrong, and will gladly admit if shown to be.

Very possible. They may latch onto him being CENTCOM when ISIL ran through Iraq. There will be no mention of the strategy that had ISIL on their heals when he left.

This case is different. President trump and his supporters are continuing to question the election.

Most Republican lawmakers refuse to acknowledge VP Joe Biden as the president-elect. According to a recent poll, nearly 90% of Republican lawmakers have not said who won the election.

That is not because he is not the President Elect. It is because Most republican Lawmakers who refuse to acknowledge him as President Elect are a bunch of sore losers and crybabies to use Trump Terms.

These lawmakers that you dismiss are the ones who make our state election laws, and they are the only ones who can change them.

Some of the state election laws were changed in states prior to this election by persons other than the legislators. That makes these changes illegal.

It is the duty of the state legislators to correct this and that is what they are doing.

Why do we have laws to govern disputes over elections if we can’t use them?

Nope and don’t intend to until the EC votes. Now…having the exact same credentials, do you believe a white officer had an equal chance of being appointed by Biden? That…was my only point, which I thought was clear enough?
