Predatory advertising marketing toward children

There are currently law regulating how TV and cable can market product toward children but no such system exist for the internet either self or government and people are abusing that and directly forcing on young children.

here is one case.

Nerd City is an interesting YouTube channel that does a variety of things, but is best known for the investigative work that goes into talking about YouTube creators, issues facing the community and trends. Prior to focusing on Jake Paul, Nerd City examined viewer suppression, which has affected a number of creators including Philip DeFranco, and demonetization.

This new video examines Paul’s various wrongdoings, from bombarding kids with unethical advertising to emotionally manipulating his audience with disturbing content.

Should Youtube and other internet video sites be covered under CTA to protect children from predatory content?

The demographic for these people are preteens and younger.

Predatory advertising marketing toward children?

Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez was simply being a democratic socialist

utopia

Like Russia does with homosex content?

No police powers for big tech.

Each OS has to build in an infallble, SMART FAMILY FILTER, that even the worst, lame brain parents are able to use.It can be done

If it’s too complicated, lame brain parents won’t set it.
It’s not brain surgery.

Surrendering to the lowest common denomnator is idiotic.

Last week it was shown that many social media outlets were blocking individuals from being seen by others based on political ideology. This subject was brought up whether there should be a governing entity to insure equal access by all and that everyone is treated the same. Many here thought that these are private institutions and should be left alone. IMO the world has changed from what we knew just over a decade ago. Who decides what is “hate speech”? Who decides if advertising is predatory? Who decides whether some peoples’ speech should be censored or blocked? It’s unfortunate but the social mediums today are somewhat like when television came on the scene years ago and maybe should be subject to the FCC or some new watch dog type agency?

So a fairness doctrine for the internet
