Only 6 people used Postal Banking during the pilot program. Evidently, funding for future pilot programs have been removed from the funding bill that President Biden signed.
Hopefully, this means that Postal Banking is dead and buried for good.

The postal service can’t deliver mail effectively. What logic says that they would be effective, as an organization, serving as a financial services entity?

Originally, $6,000,000 was allocated for a new postal banking pilot program despite last year’s test of the program only reaching 6 people.
…but now those funds have been reallocated to bail out mismanaged lib cities/states.
