Ross burned so much time trying to get the citizenship question on the census that he showed he didn’t care to put the resources into getting an accurate count.

The fact that they started to recruit people late and tried to end the thing early shows how much disdain that they had for the process.

Sometimes it is willful incompetence and not some big grand conspiracy that explains things better.

No he wasn’t. Ross took the job as Commerce Secretary Ross made Millions in side income from ventures that his position had direct oversight with.

Actually administering the census was the low thing on his list. His only concern was to get the citizenship question on it.

Those that are there permanently are in charge…regardless of a title. The outcome proves they’re either incompetent or corrupt but both are deal breakers in my world and I’d fire them.
