30 years ago, that might have been close to the truth. Today, it’s not even close.
I met one a few days ago at the polls. She said “Man, it’s NICE to come to a state where the line to vote Republican is longer than the line to vote stupid.”.

Think we found some common ground. Property taxes are the most regressive tax known to man. Bust your tail end for 30 years, pay off your house and the government will throw you out based on appraised value that you haven’t been able to realize into actual cash, giving you the ability to pay those taxes. I’d like us to abolish property taxes by the US Constitution and force state governments to revert to sales taxes and only sales taxes. I’d also like to abolish income taxes at the federal level and force them to beg states for funding and ALSO only on sales . . . what it would do is eviscerate the ability of government to spend money because all of the sudden, the sales tax would be 35-40% and people would be FURIOUS. The fact that they skim off the top of your paycheck, then charge you sales tax, property tax, gas tax, etc… it’s the boil the frog method. People don’t realize how much they’re paying to government because it’s imbedded into things that you do every day.

I didn’t make up the term. It has been around for over 100 years. At worst, you could argue that I applied it incorrectly. But it doesn’t matter what you call them, Russians living west of the Ural Mountains are Europeans. Somehow you would rather argue about a descriptive noun than to debate the substance of the statement. One can only assume that you can’t refute the statement.
