That is the term for Russians whose culture is European … that is from west of the Ural Mountains.
You mean here? Ok what Russians from Vladivostok called?
Ah so this is an all night conversation then?
.
They are actually very happy living there. Employment rate is pretty high. Cost of living low. It’s third richest city in the country

What’s the difference between the two?
My entire team is there. I just got back from a week there BTW. First time in Austin
I’ll be there one week a month. I’ll know more.
Why does that matter?
You don’t actually know any Californians, do you?
Outside of potentially driving up the cost of housing, in particularly if there’s a limited supply, what would the other issues be?
They demand more infrastructure. More roads, more stores, more restaurants (high end), better schools, more parks & entertainment.
All of which costs significant money.
They need to go do the one town in Romania they will be welcomed at.

More so that other people? The complaint in the OP largely pertained to the wealthy foreigners pricing out the locals from preferential neighborhoods. I don’t see how if f a group of wealthy people move into a neighborhood how that’s going to be a problem for the people who are currently living there. Will they not drive on the existing roads, shop at the existing stores, go to the existing restaurants, and have their kids go to the existing public or private schools?
