Pirate Dies 200 Years Too Late, RIP Jimmy Buffett

He made it to 76. I always figured he’d be one to go on into his 90’s. Too many cheeseburgers, maybe? Sail on sailor!

Aww, that’s sad. I love his music.

Dude used to party like most people can’t comprehend, even people who think they party hard. Buffet was on another level, an animal. I respect that LOL.

If you see any dejected parrot headed folks walking around, by 'em a margarita.

Never did the Parrothead thing (got dragged to his shows a couple of times, but not really my jam). Still, I think he ended up an underrated songwriter. Years ago, someone asked Bob Dylan about his favorites and he included Jimmy Buffet. Definitely a super-smart guy.

As Samm said, a sun filled life.

He got skin cancer and then later developed the lymphoma that killed him (something that happens a lot), according to reports. Had been fighting the skin cancer for four years.

24 hours…76 years…really was way too short a stay.

Headed out to San Francisco for the Labor Day Weekend Show.

I bet he had his Hush Puppies on too. So fitting he went on Labor Day Weekend.

Jimmy’s music made me smile.

That is a fitting epitaph. :slightly_smiling_face:
