Pie, Please Be Warned, and Thank You

I was perusing the Foot Network website, and I found a recipe that set off alarm bells.

After the recipe, I found this paragraph:

“A viewer or guest of the show, who may not be a professional cook, provided this recipe. It has not been tested for home use.”

Well, I can assure you that this recipe was not created by a professional. At least she didn’t embarrass herself by using allspice.

The addition of shredded lemon peel might help this recipe a bit, but even so, I recommend that you avoid this recipe.

Mr. Hannity, I hope that you enjoyed the pie. I used my own recipe, with a secret ingredient.

And thank you for the letter and the strawberries.

I clicked your link. That is a terrible recipe, in so many ways. That should not be on that website.

Thank you so much. I think that the Food Network should hold itself to a higher standard.

The Food Network is the MSNBC of the culinary world. I wouldn’t use one of their recipes of the Russians paid me.

Right behind the caps lock button.

HOW RUDE! :rage:

You are a phony, sweet potatoes are not even yams!

Oh, I’m sorry.

I know! Unnecessary use of caps is super rude.

REAL SWEET POTATO PIE!

Oh my goodness.

That looks yummy. Do you have a recipe?

I don’t know why we don’t do more recipe threads here.

That looks really good. I like the idea of meringue.

This is not turning out how I had imagined.

Do you use Penezy spices? I love them. They are the best spices. They are very liberal company too.

What do you think about this recipe?

I don’t make a lot of pies, but it sounds good to me.
