in securing our borders…this is from DHS. And that physical barriers actually work.

Mayorkas says border walls don’t work…now who are “we” to believe; this study or an evil liar?

Not the known liar…

Curious if you opened these up before posting them and casting them as “From DHS”.

The first is the “Immigration Reform Law Institute” investigative report, whoever the Immigration Reform Law Institute.

The second is from the DHS, yes, but has nothing to do about efficacy.

All it contains (at least the unredacted parts) are descriptions of the barriers and there actual costs. Nothing else.

I know this because I opened it up and looked at it.

Exactly what I was thinking when I was reading the DHS report. Not sure how the institute quoted came to these conclusions from that report.

Pedestrian Fence is most cost-effective and provides

Getting the pedestrians to make the fence on the other hand…

Your right it does say that.

The internal DHS report that the, ahem, “Immigration Reform Law Institute” refers to has nothing, and i should repeat this, nothing in it about effectiveness.

I’ll repeat this part, too. I know this because I opened up the DHS report and looked at it.

I admire your credulousness when it come to the IRLI, but first sources, which you supplied us, often adere closer to the truth.

After 3 solid years of border failure it is acutely obvious that physical barriers are needed and effective.

So you’re saying I didn’t read what I was reading.

That’s what the evidence seems to indicate. Of course, it’s unlikely that our relative levels of comprehension are the the exact same, so I guess we can agree to disagree.

Right…because you’re so much superior.

All I said was that our levels of comprehension were likely different. This is a conclusion that you drew on your own.

The linked DHS report says nothing about a wall.

It talks about a pedestrian fence…

There walls all over Europe, the Middle East they all work in reducing illegal migration. It only doesn’t work in the U.S. according to some open border advocates then you get things like the democratic mayor of Arizona mobilizing the national guard what a ■■■■ show.

If it works, why has the border not had walls in certain areas for decades? Through many Republican and Dem administrations….

Perhaps “adequate persistent impedance” was a bit over his head. Try translating. Something like “stops people a lot”.
