I was pointing to the hypocrisy of complaining when progressives cite Biblical passages while turning a blind eye to politics making.a profit off Bible sales. I would object as strongly if Joe Biden were to commercialize the Bible, He won’t though, because he is a man of religious conviction.

Can I respectfully ask how exactly does the 2nd make the state safer or more free.
The state has become too powerful to be defeated by armed citizens.
Guns are not being used against government, they are being used against each other. Even schools.
And if you insist on sticking with the original purpose of the 2nd, how come people unhappy with the country/government, don’t use their arms against it.
