Or not as indoctrinated and kept unhappy to advance bad ideology.

Being played maybe. But not being killed. Your cities are combat zones. You could not have screwed things up worse,

No. Triggers should trigger you. Like this one. BLM Say her name.

7-year-old girl killed, father shot while sitting at McDonald’s drive-thru on West Side | WGN-TV (wgntv.com)

My small city is not a combat zone. (Black democratic mayor)

Low crime.

Allan

Congratulations! Maybe your mayor can help the rest of the democratic party understand how they have made their cities more dangerous than Afghanistan? Ya think?

Old story and it did…See I live in Chicagoland. NW Indiana…and it’s not just this one story. Last week there were three kids under 15 killed. Over the weekend from Friday at 7 pm to Monday at 4 am…55 people shot, 11 killed. I wake up everyday to hear this news. This morning 11 shot 2 dead. Do you want me to continue. You guys get triggered by what you may see once in a while about Chicago. I see it everyday…and to talk about it here with everyone is useless.

While people are dying daily due to gunfire, I still staunchly support gun ownership and 2nd Amendment rights. While the Mayor of Chicago wants to do the opposite, she’s out making commercials about Chicago opening up. This mornings commercial…She’s standing at Chicago’s North St. Beach…with a mega phone and yells “We’re Open Beaches”! In the mean time 11 people got shot overnight and 2 killed.

What do you want from me?

Nothing. I want your democratic politicians to stop whining about racism and po-leece brutality and man up. They cannot address problems if they won’t admit the causes. Stop blaming whitey for inner city war zones.

Urban areas are naturally always going to be dirtier and more dangerous than suburban/rural areas.

I’d invite you to look at Indianapolis which has consistently elected both democrats and republicans locally - and crime has not fluctuated depending on which party is in charge.

N.Y.C used to be the safest big city on Earth. What changed? What are the top 5 reasons for inner city poverty? Your party claims white oppression and po-leece brutality is number one. Do you agree? What would you put as number one?

Have you looked at Indianapolis trends like I invited you to ?

As to what you said . A) do you have something that sites that NYC used to be the safest big city on Earth ? I would’ve thought Stockholm and HongKong would have been better even in its finest days. B) Not my party - I actually believe I’ve already been called a woke lib and a right-wing nutjob on this forum within the same week; so I must be doing something right

I know when someone feel all emotional so they go off on a tantrum.

I can’t say I blame you…why can’t republican politicians join with democrat politicians and solve the problem together. Isn’t that what they should be doing.

If you want me to say this is a black issue…I won’t. Urban decay has been happening in my life time. The city of Gary Indiana or Detroit Michigan are perfect examples.

I will speak of Gary, because I am from there( if only briefly). Gary was once a thriving vital city…A steal city that employed thousand and thousands of steel workers. The city had always thrived in neighborhoods. My family came from a predominately Hungarian Neighborhood…but my dad was exposed to all different races and nationalities including black families and schoolmates.

As the black population in Gary rose, the white population fled, in fear…not of violence, but in fear of declining property values, petty crime, and I will just say it…racism. This left a huge vacuum of tax revenues, as people sold their homes, and those they sold them to couldn’t pay mortgages and foreclosures were happening at a large rate. People were forced to leave their homes, abandoned homes collect no taxes. If no taxes are collected there is no revenue for the city, and county to do things, like plow roads, fix sewers, replace street lights and the like. Urban Decay hit hard in the 70s, my family moved out of a two bedroom apartment in the Miller Beach Area of Gary, to a more suburban area south of Gary in 1965 because I was born. By 1980, white people had left the area in droves. By the 1990s the city’s population began do decrease, and in the 90s as Chicago started to tear down it’s housing projects like Cabrini Green and others, those people moved to Gary, as they could actually find cheaper housing there. This further caused a white exodus. By the early 2000’s what was once a city of almost 200,000 people in the 1960s now has a population of almost 77,000 in 2019.

The economy and the failure of the local steel mills to want to spend the money to upgrade steel works at the several steel mills in the area have caused many mills to close or reduce output drastically and unemployment has been the cause of much of the decay.

It’s not just a black population, democratic leadership issue like you want us to believe. It’s way bigger than all of that.

Deflect all you want…WHAT YOU SAID MADE NO SENSE…so I attempted to clarify that. If you want to put that on me, being emotional…LOL be my guest if that makes you feel better.

What drove you to get into this little petty exchange?

Not being able to figure out what the hell you were trying to say.

Nose-tweaking is all the libs have. :man_shrugging:

Let them have their jollies.

Homeless people will go to big cities. There are more programs to assist them with food and shelter. In a rural or small town, homeless people might as well rot and die. The locals will harrass them and chase them out. Homeless people stick out in small towns and thats why they don’t want to be there.

More easy pickings and anonymity in the masses also.

At least I always understand what you are talking about Guv…

Well it’s been corrected. The shooter gets the star. Receive 5 stars for taking out carjackers you get free trip through inside passage of Alaska.
