I didn’t say they won’t change, I said there won’t be any amendments. The Constitution will continue to be eroded and diminished.

The polar opposite of “con”.
Good point. On what does it depend?
and i care about what he thinks… why? appeals to authority do not impress. maybe you need him to tell you what your opinion is, I don’t.
When you say there will be no more amendments, you are saying that the various factors that prevent a theoretical amendment from passing today will not change.
I am not comfortable making that statement.

That is a question for which many people are paid large amounts of money to try and figure out.
It’s a very complicated and difficult question.
silly statement. He’s a ■■■■■■■ politician in a dress. making decisions based on what he thinks best for the court is not following the constitution or the law. Its politics. he is interested only in keeping the prestige (and therefor power) of the court in tact.

Of substance. What do you think you can get the people of 38 out of 50 states to agree on? You think there is going to be some charismatic leader appear who will get us all behind one vision?
Right now? Nothing of substance.
I doubt it.

In today’s political environment would be worst time to do any amending IMO. Nor when government is one sided/party either.

I would say in the case of the dems and given recent history the hierarchy would be:
- Race
- Gender
- Global warming hoax
- Basket of free ■■■■ promises
- Sexual preference
Any intersectionality of course advances one up the scale.
Excluding of course the perception of being electable in a general.
convention. not the normal process. bring the legislatures together.

Good, we agree
Then what is going to change it?

That would be a horrible mistake.
I have no idea. I can’t predict the future, other than to say things will change.
possibly, but not with the right leadership. it would definitely be hard, the worst possible outcome imo is they would agree to nothing. which almost happened the first time.

And I have agreed the Constitution will continue to be diminished. We’re just paying lip service to it now.
Dragging the anchor across the bottom as it were. And pulling it up a link at a time every day.
