does that effect my government? no. its none of my business or yours

You realize anytime a Trump supporter tries to get on his moral high horse regarding politicians lying, he is simply laughed at hysterically?

whatever it is you think trump lies about does not effect my government for generations to come. i don’t care what he pays in taxes, i don’t care how big his crowds are, i don’t care about anu of the minutia you go on about. 4 new liberal Senators and Jurists will effect generations of Americans.

Absolutely things Trump lies about affects the country for years to come.

Already the damage he has caused will take years to roll back.

I was bringing up how politicians of every stripe avoid answering questions at the debate.

Allan

and some questions shouldn’t be or don’t deserve answering. is the future of the country for generations one of them?

When did you start to care about generations to come. Perhaps we should await the results of the election before confirming a SCOTUS justice.

Why ram her though the confirmation process?

Perhaps politics comes into play.

Allan

Since when do politicians answer questions?

ANY questions. If one pays close attention to what is being asked of a politician of any stripe, and close attention to the answer, less than half of questions get answered, sometimes far less than half.

no-one is changing anything to do it. the only thing democrats are upset about is that its not them doing it. tell me schumer wouldn’t do the same. he would and you know it. which republicans do you know advocated expanding the court when it had a liberal majority? none. the people elected an r senate and president. this is the result. if they don’t like it they can elect a d senate and president, and over the next 4 years they’ll likely get to replace two more justices going the other way.

More often than not when asked a question, Trump goes off on an unrelated or only tangentially related rant. See my previous post…

he strays, but he answers.

That’s pretty funny.

maybe, but he does answer.

No one is saying the Dems wouldn’t do otherwise.

But good to see you coming around to reality.

The majority of swing voters don’t want a packed court, but they also want the filling of the seat to wait until after the election to be chosen by the winner.

What remains to be seen is what will upset these voters more…and if they realize they can’t stop Trump and the GOP but they can punish them, but they CAN stop the court packing by electing Biden but not giving him the Senate.

or they can reelect trump with a democrat senate.

Neither of us can read minds.

Rarely does he actually address the question, pay more attention. He throws in a talking point or two then rambles on about other ■■■■ more often than not.

No. Mitch McConnell will let the dems filibuster the nominee.

I missed that.

McConnell changes the rules to suit him.
