That is a claim that you have made that is completely baseless. Back to the tennis for me.

You’ll never see anything my friend when you choose to keep your eyes closed.

You know no one has that. So can the histrionics.

Conversely, neither do you.

I’m not a doctor. Are you?

Impossible. A thing called HIPAA, no list can be published. On incidence statistics. You know there is no list of names or diagnoses. So why ask.

Scars on the brain from blasts are completely different than blunt force scars like those seen from contact sports. It’s the most common type of wound in the last two war s , and it’s a bit disappointing that more people don’t know the differences.

Physiological, not psychological.

What mistake is that? No matter what the President thinks, says or does…you will find fault. There is no pleasing you in any way, shape or form and that is only due to you…being inflicted…with TDS. What’s amazing is that TDS has traveled all the way down to Australia. Who knew it could be so contagious? :sunglasses:

Their prognois has not been divulged. But treatment two to three weeks after points to more than just a mild TBI.

But it’s hard to say…the Pentagon isn’t talking about prognosis for these 17 still being treated. Which leads me to believe it’s more serious.

This…from post #3

Asked the next day about the newly disclosed injuries, the president minimized the injuries, calling them mere [“headaches.”](Trump: US troop injuries from Iran’s attack “not very serious” - Vox)

“I’ve seen what Iran has done with roadside bombs to our troops. I’ve seen people with no legs and no arms. I’ve seen people that were horribly, horribly injured,” Trump said on Wednesday in Davos, Switzerland. “I don’t consider them very serious injuries relative to other injuries that I’ve seen.”

Sure he said he’s seen amputee injuries, and I think this are the worst you could see. Second would be brain injuries. And he minimized the injuries these soldiers received.

That was his mistake.

TDS spreads fast, like an arsonist’s fire.

@SixFoot, having had conversation with you in the past, and your injury while serving…how do you reconcile the President’s comments? Does it not bother you that he described these 17 somewhat serious injuries as mere headaches?

Just want to get your take. If you don’t care to comment, I understand and respect it.

You’re being fed sheople food by VOX to activate your emotions…and it’s working. A concussion isn’t immediately diagnosed…where as a physical injury is. What the President said is true. Although I do not want any injuries…period…a concussion is the lessor injury than your body parts being blown off from a roadside bomb. His evaluation at the time was accurate and his comparison of injuries afterwards…although it may be aggravating to some…is still accurate. The media is trying to incite you! Why do you just open your mouth, swallow and then regurgitate…orange man baaa, baaa, baaad? Do you really not comprehend what’s happening?

I compliment this question and the response is from a person I respect too. Thanks for asking it.

If he had said this on January 12th I would agree. Bu he said this last Tuesday Smyrna…and I watched him say it on the news…and even my son who’s had 2 concussions one serious one looked at me and said he’s wrong about that. These 17 soldiers were diagnosed and shipped to Germany or back to the States for treatment.

At this time…he really should’ve known better. And yes. It’s my opinion. But what would you be saying right now if this had been Obama.

I appreciate your comment Smyrna, people have been largely respectful of my comments about my personal experience with my dad’s 8-year battle. So I feel respecting @SixFoot and his previous honest interaction is warranted.

Your misguided allegation that TDS has travelled to Australia does you no credit. Trump is an appalling human being irrespective of one’s politics.

I had the worst case of shin splints throughout my 10 weeks of basic training. There were days I couldn’t hide the wincing of pain. I never went to sick call for it, because that’s where Privates went when their vaginas hurt. I had a pretty badass Drill Sergeant though, who had empathy for the bruises always covering my legs, and would feed me 800mg Ibuprofen after dinner chow when he was working night shifts. Between basic and AIT, there was a 19 day period where we were on holdover status and didn’t do so much as morning PT. My shin splints healed greatly in those 3 weeks and they slowly tapered off from there.

On my first deployment to Iraq, one of my buddies slipped a disc in his back while we were setting up 20ton T-barriers in Sadr City. 19, slipping a disc. We worked our asses off over there, so naturally, we called him a big fat vagina for the next 48 hours of his medical bed rest and told him to eat extra cookies.

In Afghanistan, when I got back on the line after my game of chicken with that grenade, I was asked if my vagina tore open in the blast. My team leader has never walked or talked since that day. We made jokes that he would come back from his injury with more brain cells than he had before.

One of my buddies lost his leg from the calf down when the hull of his RG-31 was breached by a wicked IED setup. At some point or another, everyone stole his fake leg, graffiti’ed it, drank beer from it, etc…

We’re absolute jerks to each other over our wounds. We also know how serious they are and that a lot of us are gonna die due to complications from them. We’re there for each other, and do all we can to help maximize each other’s benefits and treatment options.

It’s a cultural thing. We can. Trump* shouldn’t. He never earned that right.

*First impeached President to get reelected.

Like I’m gonna make a post without something smart-assed in it… :stuck_out_tongue:

“All is well.”

While we’re having this conversation, I feel pretty well compensated (financially speaking) for my services.

It’s the healing that is overly complicated for no good reasons.
