House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi doubled-down on her predictions of “doom and gloom” surrounding the GOP tax cuts Wednesday, blasting the “scam” despite record breaking economic growth across the United States.
Pelosi was speaking alongside her liberal colleagues Wednesday when she slammed the Republican-led cuts as hurting “working families” who were now forced to “pay the consequences.”
The comments echo similar remarks made by Pelosi earlier this year, when she labeled rising wages and large bonuses as “crumbs” to American workers.
