Then thatās a local issue. They made their bed when they elected their local leaders.

The federal courthouse is not local.
My own city of Seattle, f.e. Well to say nothing isnāt telling the entire story.
They are trying to defund/abolish the police department and restrict them from using crowd control devices.
So that is actually less than nothing

Yeah, I know. Your point?
I donāt agree. If local government fails, state and federal should step in. Remember, not everyone who lives there votes for these local leaders and Iād rather not see people that arenāt complicit be turned into collateral damage.

This is what I would like to see. I know you are an anti-federalist so we are just going to disagree here.

I meant equality in political terms as promoted by socialists.
Can Executive branch declare it a Disaster area, and then the feds would have authority ? sort of like with FEMA during a hurricane ?

Why send anyone else?
This was beyond the capabilities of mall cops. They tried to burn the building.
They also instituted curfew and put anti riot officers on the street.
You are now arguing policy - defund the police not inaction regarding street violence

Here's to feeling good all the time. :

With a request from the governor, sure.
Sure use us Marshall service that defends these buildings. I donāt get border patrol. Are they only dispersing crowds surrounding federal buildings or in other places a few blocks away because the crowd may decide to head there
I donāt see an issue them surround a federal building and keeping people away. Thatās where the line should be.
