When Trump’s mouth causes him problems, it’s not because he is making stuff up, he’s just being himself.
When Biden’s mouth causes him trouble, it’s because he IS making stuff up, trying to be someone else.
All Donald has to do is stop acting so damned arrogant, and I think that is his achilles heel.
Biden will be Biden again, and start making things up, sticking his foot in his mouth. I just hope Donald can step outside himself, and understand Presidential can some times mean less is more.
He’s now repeating himself, I did this, I did that, I did, I did, etc…
It looks childish at times. The tweets are both really good, and really bad.
Where the hell is he anyway?
The election process, two wolves and an ewe deciding on supper plans.

We don’t need to unite. We do need to tone down the abject hatred.
I do much better than most.

Is that why we been called racist and bigots for decades?
Seems odd. Now libs want people to “tone down” after decades of their insults and division.

You personally? Absolutely, you are a huevo bueno. I debated with myself before posting it for that very reason.
If you look really closely at Trump’s rants, he doesn’t draw first blood. Seriously.
What he does do is respond all out of proportion. All lot. Most would consider that foul play, because we have been taught that it is. Clausewitz and Sun Tzu disagree.

I appreciate it. Practice what you preach is more than a clever phrase.

This board/forum was micro of what gone on in our society as a whole. Libs come here to insult, degrade and say some of most vile ■■■■ about us. But the moment we decide to push back they attempt to silence it’s members.
And when that doesn’t work they demand us to tone it down?
United we stand, divided we fall!
If the nation is going to beak up anything at all it should be individual states i.e. a North & South New York and California as examples and just add a few more stars to the flag and hey maybe we’ll get to Obama’s number of 57 states.

They’re not going to break up. Those that are advocating it wants civil war.
Take California for example. Even thou they’re most libs the conservatives in that state is not going to tolerate it.
They could easy ■■■■ down libs stronghold and plunge them into darkness.

…and libs from Austin will call them traitors…amirite?
It does look that way, but she comes and goes…and comes back for the blueberries. She and my smaller dog run the fence line together. They have played like that for three years.
It’s already started as the op said would rather have it happen peacefully. The left has turned more authoritarian in nature its only a matter of time a spark happens that will make the right jump in.
I’m not opposed to an organized, peaceful break up.
We keep down the path we are going and 50 years from now the break up might be inevitable. And it would not be peaceful.

It’s not going to be peaceful…not possible.
Personally I don’t think people understand what they’re advocating.
Back when Conservatives were advocating it I tried warning them then. You think goverment is going to go down without a fights? And once they go down that road you can kiss any freedoms we may have goodby should they be successful.
It’s a road I advise avoiding going down unless they…meaning goverment gives us no options.
And right now it’s not the goverment…it’s those that want to control it is the bigger problem IMO.
I’m not advocating. I’m just not opposed to it out of hand.
Of course it would be difficult. This would be like the break up of the Soviet Union. Very difficult, very tense, fraught with danger. But in the end, the USSR’s breakup into new nations was pretty peaceful especially considering how violent the Soviet government was to previous calls for independence.
It’s not impossible. It would just be difficult.
The left and the right are diametrically opposed and have been for a century plus now. Even the constitution is viewed differently between the two factions. And it’s not just the intellectual elites of both movements. The rank and file are getting involved. And the cultural differences between regions are becoming more and more pronounced each decade.

I learned my lesson about disagreeing with you on this, but it may be worth the price. We’re going to have to pay it sooner or later anyway.
The trick would be to make it stick.

If liberals were capable of doing things on their own without forcing others to do it for them, they wouldn’t be liberals.
