They always show the same stock news video of him walking into and out of the courthouse. He has the most awkward, uncomfortable-looking walk I’ve ever seen in a reasonably healthy individual.

And he doesn’t even have a cellmate yet.

I’m not sure how the physical toll would be any greater than that of any other frauder of banks and avoider of taxes and breaker of plea deals and tamperer of witnesses and liar of lies when committed to tell the truth.

It’ll be interesting to see what value, if any, Manafort’s late physical infirmities plays in his sentencing.

I wonder what the physical toll is of helping to out into power a Ukrainian sociopath that robbed that country blind to such an extent that they were gritting away money from kids with cancer.

Given the findings the Judge has made so far in the sentencing hearing and the totality of the situation, I think the Judge would be justified in handing down a sentence at the maximum end of the sentencing guidelines, which, just so happens is the 19 to 25 years the prosecution is asking for. I would support a sentence in that range.

As per usual, I do not support any sentence that exceeds (or is below) the sentencing guidelines.
