The economic crisis engulfing Venezuela reached new heights this week, with the nation’s currency seeing inflation rates nearing 1,000,000% as the socialist government struggles to contain the economic collapse.
This is a textbook example of the horrors of Socialism. Unless you people want that kind of existence or worse, when the armed government enforcers arrive, you should vote every time, for free market candidates in all elections where there is a clear choice. In this society at this time, it means vote for the textbook example of how much a person can earn under the free market system. That, of course, is the current President. As Socialism matures it ALWAYS turns violent to keep the peons under control. Think Russia, China, and Cuba, only to name 3. UK is showing just how hard it is to break away from Socialism, once it takes a hold on a nation. They were part of the European Union, voted to regain their soverign country, and the last I heard were still not able to get out of that and get their country back. Socialism promises much, but takes all in the final analysis. When anyone asks what Socialism is, use this one work definition, CONTROL.
