I betcha he won’t be lying to the fbi anytime soon.
Two weeks sounds about right.

Do not lie to the FBI.
You would have thunk that this is a no brainer

Yeah, I know. I wouldn’t do it myself, however I understand why someone might feel the risk is worth the reward. Apparently he felt like protecting the President from incrimination might be worth the risk.
Tell the truth and let the chips fall as they may.
He wouldn’t be in the mess if he had told the truth.
Allan
Another fine mess Trump has gotten them into.
All the minimizing of this ■■■■ Trumpies have been doing doesn’t mean a thing, especially to Mr. Mueller.
Anyway, what is the truth? I do not understand why it is “illegal” to “lie” before the FBI. What happened to free speech? Should it be protected by the one amendment? I think many people agree with me.

Btw, the lesson is not to tell the truth to the pigs.
The lesson here is NEVER, NEVER, NEVER talk to the pigs, EVER.
That goes whether the pig in question belongs to the FBI, the State Police, the Sheriffs Office or your local police.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER talk to them, EVER.
Invoke your FIFTH AMENDMENT rights and SHUT THE **** UP!!!

As he lied to the FBI and didn’t have to, then I have no sympathy for his having to spend two weeks in jail. Its a little pathetic that some seem to think this is some sort of great victory for Mueller, though.
I mean…you lie = two weeks.
About right.
Pada D lied to the FBI about meeting a Russian agent, Joseph Mifsud, and his lies about those meetings bought enough time for Mifsud to escape the US.
Are you guys this poorly informed, or are you so used to minimizing and hand waving away everything damaging to Republicans that you just don’t even care anymore? Some of both probably.
All we know is that this Mifsud person came up to him and told him that the Russians had some of Hillary’s emails. Everything else is speculation. If there were more there that could be proven then Papadopolous would not be spending just two weeks in jail.
I know…he has told Mueller all about this secret spy stufff to get just two weeks. Again…all nothing but speculation and inconsistent with Papadopolous wanting to take back his plea deal.

If people did that we would not have overcrowding in jails.

And yet the FBI can lie to us with impunity. Seems fair.
