Over 45,000 new illegals in 5 days

The likelihood it is for the following:

persecution due to:

Race
Religion
Nationality
Membership in a particular social group
Political opinion

Is virtually zero for the overwhelming majority of these people showing up at the border. Its exactly ■■■■■■■ rocket science, and its not like we don’t know what is going on in these countries. And regarding what each particular Asylum judge decides there’s a high degree of subjectivity and personal bias involved.

I know the conditions in Guatemala.

8% as adjudicated by this countries immigration courts this year so far.

other countries have different rates.

Mexico 4%
Bangladesh 58%
Brazil 10%
columbia 19%
india 47%
nicaragua 24%
russia 60%
Venezuela 29%

Allan

The Colombian government does not persecute Colombian citizens.

Those are all economic. Venezuelans have been voting for their mess for years.

So people from Russia, India, and Bangladesh have no choice but to travel half way around the world to seek asylum in the US?

Here’s the reality Al, we could shut down our border right now if the Biden administration -or any administration - wanted to. Asylum law do not trump a nation’s sovereign rights!

they might be refugees from those countries not asylum seekers.

refugees apply for status without coming to a port of entry.

Allan

Allan, just stop. You cannot calculate the percent of legitimate applications for asylum by looking at the number that were granted to people from one country.

The Biden Administration is clearly abusing the laws to grant asylum for economic hardship. With the exception of Venezuela, not one of those countries is persecuting their citizens for political, ethnic, racial or religious reasons. Being poor and wanting to care for a family with no real hope to do so is a legitimate reason to flee a country, but it is not a legitimate reason to be granted asylum.

Allan

these are immigration judges, not the biden admin who is granting asylum.

Allan

Biden’s people make the call, the Judge just rubber stamps it.

Please tell us Al the scientific test that empirically proves someone indeed has a valid asylum claim? These judges are appointed and absolutely have their own political leanings and biases. This has been discussed before:

You act like if someone is granted asylum that proves their claim was valid, but it doesn’t prove ■■■■■

Here’s the reality on what is going on:

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/what-is-a-frivolous-asylum-application-and-how-can-it-harm-immigrants/ar-AA1ibBQd?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=bfb39eb4658d437ea8eca214cd28aeac&ei=36

A frivolous asylum application takes place when the person in question invents stories or lies to qualify for political asylum. Though they may do this on their own, some people are convinced by organized crime groups to circumvent the immigration system to be able to stay in the United States.

If Guatemala is a NAZI like state that oppresses it’s citizens racially and religiously, then we should definitely be putting severe sanctions on that government. What is the state department doing to force Guatemala to stop this oppression?
