Over 45,000 new illegals in 5 days

I am not at all happy with Biden’s border policies.
If what you stated was true, has anyone filed suit that it’s in violation of the law? Any outcomes?

Yes many. Feds are in charge of the border. So he has soul authority to do what he wants. It is what I hate about courts, they will rule on a technicalitie but not on case itself. Delaying stuff for years.

So, for now, it’s legal then.

I have mixed feelings on the border crisis.
One one hand I can’t fault the majority of people coming want to have a better life for themselves and their families than they’ve had in the countries of origin.
But we can’t be letting in so many people we can’t properly accommodate.
And by accommodate I don’t mean freebies; I mean having them integrate fully and contribute economically and otherwise.

My biggest current frustration is where to find out what the true numbers are about what’s really happening.
There’s no shortage of biased/skewed data sources or good info of part of the numbers, but I haven’t found a non-biased comprehensive source of info.

Maybe not checkpoint but it is part of the legal process of getting into the country.

Essentially everyone who is at a processing facility is “illegal” until they get processed into the country legally.

DHS and CBP have the numbers. I haven’t heard that they are inaccurate or politically biased. It’s the best we have.

I would trust their numbers.
Ideally I’d like numbers on total border crossings over time, total allowed in vs immediate removal, number of those awaiting immigration court dates, stuff like that.
I’ve googled those types of questions, but haven’t been satisfied with the results.

ah no wonder i wasnt getting an answer

They are not following “a legsl process”. They are not following the process passed by the House and Senate, who enact the laws. They are following a rogue process declared unconstitutionally by the executive branch which is not supposed to ignore laws and invent their own.

Apparently the Judicial branch disagrees.

Have they made a ruling on this?

"

Apparently, they have. How can Louisiana and Texas lack standing based on an argument that “they have not suffered direct harm due to the policy,” having had to bear the burden of millions invade through their borders, when NY is claoming harm from a mere 30,000 being transferred across their borders?

The law is indeed an ass.

Uh, huh and the US is now a monarchy.

Sometimes judicial rulings don’t go the way we like.

What judge said open borders were ok besides king joe?

Time for Congress to declare an emergency and send in NG to shut it down.

That’s always been an option. It’s just that there’s a lot more going on than the Propaganda Outlets can talk about.

Will be a tough pill to swallow admitting the emergency is self Biden inflicted.

The decision, authored by conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh, underscored the authority of the U.S. government’s executive branch to enforce federal law and decide who to arrest and prosecute, including in the context of immigration.

USSC - 8 to 1

It was a tough pill for libs to swallow when Obama became president and they had to start supporting another surge of troops to the GWoT, had to start supporting expanded wars in Libya, had to support bombing of U.S. never convicted of any crimes, etc…

But they did, because there was a lot more going on than “BOOOOSH did teh 9/11!!!”
