In this attached article there is a specific mention of a large US military base “in the vicinity” of recent COVID-19 outbreak in S. Korea-see article:
FYI, there are currently about 58,000 US troops, family and support personnel in South Korea.
Camp Humphrey’s is the largest US base in Asia, and about 50 miles driving distance from Itaewon.
This is disconcerting to say the least but hopefully the military medical establishment isn’t being dominated by leftwing anti Trump Activists and they’ll provide the best care they know how to, to all our troops.
Agreed, our military there is taking necessary precautions to mitigate the virus spread. Seemed liked the article was playing coy with only a slight mention of military being in the vicinity. The days of US military at those wild night clubs in South Korea being drunk and disorderly are long gone.
Nope, The experts on the front lines say Fauci is full of crap which is true he hasn’t been right about anything except Trump saving lives by stopping flights from China.
No matter what Trump does or doesn’t do, he’s wrong.
If he endorsed taking a daily multi vitamin and some extra vitamin C daily to help maintain good health during cold/flu season democrats would denounce him as a quack immediately along with every doc who’s made the same recommendation for a hundred years.
No, that isn’t what doc’s on “the front lines” are saying about Fauci.
He’s a good man doing a good job for the most part, but he’s an epidemiologist with an extremely narrow view of the world and his only focus on this disease is stopping it’s spread.
All of his recommendations are perfectly in line with his traditional training, his oath, and forty plus years in epidemiology.
You just have to understand where he comes from.
That extremely narrow focus and training is why we don’t let Epidemiologists run the world any more than statisticians or stock analysts.
Most true experts are ignorant of everything outside of their very narrow field.
On ALL topics this President takes very serious his solemn oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. The Bill of Rights spells out the American rights in relation to their government. It guarantees civil rights and liberties to the individual - like freedom of speech, press, and religion, the right to keep and bear arms, the freedom of assembly and the freedom to petition. Trump routinely reminds us all why those individual rights are so special and never to be taken for granted.
