Texans speak English. Well sort of. All across this great nation, we see different regional accents. But every now and then, one encounters someone with no discernable accent. Should one be afraid to point out how well they speak the language? Especially if they are an immigrant from a foreign country?

The people who gave America millions of illegals, who lied about Biden’s mental health, who keep lobbying to put men in women’s locker rooms, who’ve been wrong about everything from Trump Russia collusion to “All the Hallmarks of Russian Disinformation” to “This is the best version of Joe Biden ever” to “Trump tariffs will lead to inflation” calling the man who is fixing all the stuff their guy Biden broke an idiot is just precious.
I sincerely believe this bunch of democrats exist primarily for the purposes of comedic relief.

Yes that’s very true. It’s the one colony in Africa that we had. Their capital, Monrovia, is even named after a US president.
The sad part of Liberia is that even though it was founded by freed ex-slaves, the Americo-Liberians immediately did to the Liberian natives what white Americans did to them.

The educated urban class in Liberia, especially Americo-Liberians speak English as a rule. Tribal languages are mostly heard in poor urban areas or in the countryside.
