Precisely. These guys could be doing actual work helping with the cleanup. Instead they’re being filmed for a well-rehearsed marketing bit to counter the chargess that the government is not actually on the ball.
Never mind how many people were in that happy-dwarf line. Consider as well the resources that went into scripting, staging recording and editing the video.

Words fail me at the ineptitude, inefficiency and pointless effort on display in that video. Even worse is the lack of self reflection that the Border Patrol themselves didn’t grasp how badly this makes them look before posting it. First place for Elon to poke his nose into right here.
