Sen. Orrin Hatch unloaded on a “loudmouth” protester during Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings Tuesday; urging security to remove the demonstrator just seconds after he began speaking.
Hatch was addressing the Senate Tuesday morning when he was abruptly interrupted by a left-wing activist who demanded legislators “vote no” against President Trump’s pick to join the US Supreme Court.
“Mr. Chairman, I think we ought to have this loudmouth removed," said Hatch. “We shouldn’t have to put up with this kind of stuff.”
“I hope she’s not a law student,” he joked.
