He isn’t quite remembering the details correctly. The amendment was proposed by the forest industry and although it was designed to bring on a Democrat on board her district isn’t the only one that benefits

I’d love to see gas go up 72 cents in Oregon right at the start. Maybe people would realize how disastrous the bill actually is then. And how much it was designed to punish people and make them suffer.

I guess there is that one provision that’s a side effect from bribing a democrat to vote for the bill. Maybe an inadvertent slip.
