I hope this ruling sets a precedent for other states like Washington and California where out of control left wingers have forgotten who they work for. The judge in this case was actually appointed by Covid Kate, (that’s what several of my former neighbors in Eastern Oregon now call Governor Brown).

I spent the first 55 years of my life in the beautiful state of Oregon before moving to Texas, AKA trading in Kate Brown for Greg Abbott, what a great trade that turned out to be.

I’m worried that some higher court in Salem or Portland will overturn this ruling, but for the moment Oregonian’s need to celebrate their freedom from that commie in the Governors Residence.

Oregon is a state of roughly 4 million people, which has experienced 3600 cases total. 75 - 80 percent of those in the Portland/Salem area. That woman would have shut the state down until the end of September right now, no gatherings of more than 250 people. It’s ridiculous. I’m told she took in money intended for the whole state and kept it all in the Portland area. So either the rest of the state is in good shape and doesn’t need any help and therefore should be cut loose, or she hoarded the money and needs to share it with the more rural parts of eastern and southern Oregon.

I got three phone calls today from my former neighbors celebrating today’s smackdown. I hope it’s a step in the right direction for a wonderful state that has drifted so far to the political left it’s becoming almost unlivable.

Texas about 85% there. Good day today in my county and the next one over. No new cases, no new deaths.

I’ve got several former neighbors from Eastern and Southern Oregon and Washington, good conservatives, who are ready to pack up and become Texans. My county has had like 13 cases.

If you’ll vouch for them, tell them to come on!

I’ll vouch for every one of them. The last thing I want is for this state to go the way of Oregon, so many Californians left California wanting to get away from the ridiculous politics there, and managed to turn Oregon into California.

Here’s a hint, if you’ve moving away from something, don’t turn the place you move to into the thing you moved away from!

Same thing happened here. Fortunately one of them is a horseman in the old tradition.

And I found him. :horse:

Tn is close to wide open. Our blue spots (in an otherwise red state) Nashville and Memphis might still have a few restrictions.

The local restaurants are open and we have been dining out a lot lately.

Be careful. Texas numbers are down. As of just yesterday.

Sorry, forgot the link.

Lol

Be careful of what? How do I do that exactly?

Just keep doing the usual. Social distancing, wear a mask, avoid packed places, etc.

Thanks for clearing that up. You work for the government?

Fine, start greeting everybody with a tongue kiss then.

Is that government permission?

sure, why not.
