Anarchy. Then socialism style “solutions”. You hit the nail on the head.

I take a philosophical approach. The failures and suffering created by too little government are matched by the failures and suffering created by too much. Striking that balance is and has been the most consistently important debate in Western democracies.

It’s a good debate to have.

Unfortunately, we have 1 party who champions to little government and 1 party who champions way too much government.

Indeed. And complicating that is that both parties are more about the coalescing of power rather than advancing an ideology.

BLM protests without chaos and anarchy are few and far between aren’t they?

Libs are going to defend it, no matter what. If the “mostly-peaceful-protests” get out of hand, they just change the meaning of words to insist that they were still “mostly peaceful”.

Shades of Baghdad Bob.

I can only assume you are being extremely hyperbolic since the vast majority of BLM protests have been peaceful.

beaumont, lubbock and amarillo texas all very conservative texas cities all have higher crime rates than the liberal bastions of austin and elpaso

The ones I attended were peaceful.

How many did you attend that had chaos and anarchy?

I never saw you post about it.

At least it’s nice to know what the left thinks of the military. I don’t see anyone disagreeing with that statement.

We have them surrounded and just where we want them in Baghdad.

I did my 4 years…I speaking from my experience. And not being scholarly doesn’t make someone a bad person. How scholarly can one be at 18-19 years old?..lol

Judging by the level of IQ that comes out of a colleges “liberal arts” program, I’ll choose the jarhead eating the crayon over the university student 9/10 times.

Simple. Because when chaos and anarchy benefits them because when order is starting to be restored it gives them a new surge of footage showing how the racist and biased police are cracking down on the poor minorities who are just protesting.

I learned Korean at that age in the military… guess I’m just some dumbass.

And I learned some german…Did that make either of us scholarly? I don’t think so…

Thanks. And when a peaceful BLM protest is held. How does that help their cause.

Allan

I wonder how the demographics compare between liberal bastions Austin or El Paso, and Chicago, Memphis.

It’s not like conservative cities banish democrats from their inner cities.

Both chaotic and orderly protests can benefit the lefts causes in this case.

As stated chaotic ones can show the police cracking down.

The flip side is that all the protests can’t be chaotic or violent. Otherwise the whole movement is classified as violent. And that’s the boat BLM is in right now. Too many of their protests have been violent and public opinion is suffering for it.

This is why you would routinely see stats about how many protests there’s been and how many were violent. The problem with using these stats to try and fix BLMs image, or at least lessen the bad press, is that people don’t care about the stats and rightly so. You can’t take 4 person protest in Idaho and weight it the same as a 2k person protest and say “50% have been peaceful”.

In that aspect currently I think BLM needs to have a bunch of large protests that remain organized. Current perception is that if it’s a large BLM protest, stuff is going to get broken and stolen.

Sorry if I seem to be rambling. I’m quite literally posting from a hospital bed. I just had an artificial disc put in my spine and they have been keeping me on the fun painkillers.
