I understand completely - you can justify anything done by your side because “CLINTON”. The lengths you go to in order to create that justification in your own mind are both impressive and somewhat entertaining however.

Feinstein and the Democrats seem to be wanting to bring them both in to testify before the committee, under oath. Grassley wants them to both do private phone interviews with staffers. For what it is worth.

I see why both sides are taking their respective approaches. Because it is all partisan all the time for all of these weasels in the Senate.

He should be able to face his accuser, in person.

She was hesitant about going public. Can’t say I blame her given some of the reactions here.

She is making a serious allegation that could ruin a person. I think the reactions, given the timing, are justified.

Even if you want to look at the notes from couple’s counseling, she doesn’t name anyone. Who is to say (if something indeed did happened to her) she isn’t being an opportunist?

She didn’t have to go public. Grassley has said her attorney could have contacted him about the allegation without giving her name.

Apparently Ford contacted her Congresswoman, who then passed it on to Feinstein. Obvously Grassley should have been made aware of it then as well.

Instead Dems chose to keep it among themselves for two months

Don’t you have to wonder why? IMO, that is the real issue here not what could or could not have happened 35 + years ago.
